1962 Chevrolet Corvette

Historically significant to Colorado Springs is this numbers matching1962 Chevrolet Corvette 327/360 Fuelie 4-Speed refinished in Fawn Beige over Beige interior. The car started new at Daniels Chevrolet here in Colorado Springs with a delivery date of November 8, 1961 and was later purchased back by one of the Daniels Chevrolet family members that would race the car in the 1962 Pikes Peak Hill Climb that took place on July 4th, 1962. The Corvette was enjoyed for several years after being reverted back to a daily drivable street car.

The Corvette left Colorado for a period of time during a previous ownership and came back to Colorado Springs in 2021. The car had been well cared for and underwent various stages of restoration during previous ownerships which was well documented and remains with the car today. Our in-house technicians have performed our comprehensive pre-owned inspection to ensure the car is ready for its next owner. During the inspection process we performed an annual oil and filter change so the next owner doesn't have to.

Many original documents have remained with the car since new and are included with the sale as well as clippings from local articles documenting the Corvette's history participating in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Additional information and photos can be made available by request.
