Description
Almost unbelievably well preserved 2006 Cayman S with 6 Speed Manual Transmission in Speed Yellow over Black Full Leather interior. Porsche Colorado Springs opened its doors for business on March 6, 2006 and this Cayman S entered the service building for a Pre-Delivery Inspection just 8 days later making the car one of the first vehicles to become part of the Porsche Colorado Springs iconic legacy. It is a bit ironic this Speed Yellow Cayman S was not a member of the "Speed Yellow Collection" Porsche Colorado Springs has become well known for. The Cayman was originally purchased by a local client that drove the car just over 2,800 miles during their 20 year ownership and expertly stored the the Cayman when it wasn't being driven which is why the car shows incredibly clean. Our Factory Trained Technicians were the first people to get this Cayman S ready for its first owner and our technicians have performed our comprehensive pre-owned inspection to ensure the car is ready for its next owner. During the inspection process we replaced all 4 tires, performed a 4 wheel alignment, replaced the vehicle battery, replaced the front hood struts, and performed a major service including oil and filter change, new engine air filter, new cabin filter, new spark plugs, new engine accessory drive belt, transmission fluid change, and brake fluid flush. The 2006 Cayman S was an all new model from Porsche and the word "disruptor" was being used to help describe the new car. The newest member to the Porsche lineup was viewed as the cool and outgoing cousin that has a bit of a wild side and comfortable being different. The Boxster models had been in the marketplace since 1997 and the 911 had just received a comprehensive redesign in 2005 becoming the very desirable 997 generation. The Cayman S was purposely placed between the Boxster and 911 models, from power and weight to price the all new mid-engine Cayman S delivered everything and more of what makes Porsche cars so iconic.
